i love the idea of taking an old tradition & making it modern. the classic "rice" toss as the couple leaves the church or reception, is getting a modern update. for this "i do tuesday," here are some of my favorite ideas (via my pinterest) on sending the couple of the night on their way!

throw bird seed or feathers to watch as the couple's "love takes flight!"
be a kid again.
poms poms or confetti are fun & childish, the perfect way to start or end the party!
oh so romantic.
lavender or sparklers are romantic & perfect for a garden wedding.

sprinkles or marshmallows are extra sweet on the special day!
