today is my younger sister lindsay's 19th birthday! we spent the weekend celebrating with her & her friend jamie who flew in to visit traverse city for the first time. unfortunately, it was super cold & rainy friday & saturday so we spent the weekend baking, shopping & eating lots of great food. it was nice to spend time being a tourist in our own city for the weekend, something very rare during my busy summer! happy birthday lindsay!

this week's manicure i did an ombre blue look using (from thumb-pinkie), sally hansen "air," china glaze "for audrey," opi's "ogre-the-top blue," deborah lippmann's "across the universe," & opi's "ski till we drop."
